Light at the End of the Tunnel

Acrylic on canvas, 2012, 12" x 15.5".

A lot further into my recovery I could see more hope. I was more willing to trust the world that by this time I had entered. It wasn't so bad after all. Every day meant climbing further out of the tunnel and towards the light that was reality. At the time of painting this I was on my way out of a mini episode and settling in to a higher dose of medication. Things were difficult but the hope was coming closer. I could see the light at the end of the tunnel.

  1. Dear friend,

And out of the end of the tunnel, that light gives you a peaceful, more positive view. Have a lovely weekend.

    In kindness and good wishes,

    Gary :)

I definitely wanted to focus on something more positive for this painting. It seemed relevant to post at this time as I have come through the stress and been more able to see hope.

I'm glad you like my painting and the message it brings. I enjoy painting the positive emotions because even in a sea of darkness there is always a light.

  6. Thank you for your kind words, Unikorna.

I do believe that it is possible to come through any hardships we experience. I find my strength from many sources - creativity, faith, good friends, lifetime goals, and probably more. Any hope I can give out is a good thing.
